The main directions of the chair are as follows:

• support in-service training and retraining courses of administrators and specialists of pre-school establishments (preparing of lectures and practical material);
• scientific, research and publishing activity on the problems of development and education of pre-school children, functioning of system of pre-school education, work of pre-school establishments and in-service training of their specialists;
• consultation of specialists of pre-school education;
• preparing of scientific and practical measures on the problems of pre-school education on the republican level;
• development of program and normative papers in the sphere of pre-school education.

Scientific and practical interests:

• development of professional competence of administrators of pre- school establishments (law, normative and legal, economical , psychological and pedagogical, communicative, organizational);
• Improving professional competence of administrators and specialists of pre-school establishments in the spheres of new educational technologies, new approaches to management activity, modern methodical work and work with personal of pre-school establishment, actual directions in kindergarten work (innovative, experimental), cooperation of pre-school establishments with school and family, social services;
