The department is structural subdivision of psychological faculty of the Academy.

The main tasks of the department are:

• working out and introduction of psychological science and practice achievements into practice of school psychological services of educational establishments;
• methodical and informational support of students of the courses of the Academy, working psychologists of the educational system with modern technologies in the field of applied pedagogical psychology;
• psychological support of the students of the courses of the Academy, specialists of educational system.

The main directions of the work:

• the department has extensive base of form and computer psycho- diagnostic methods. All the technologies are supplied with methodical recommendations , instructions, keys and interpretations. It gives the opportunity to make psycho-diagnostic analysis of different spheres of a person and completely carry out any psychologist's inquiry ;
• individual psychological consultations are arranged in the department;

The personnel of the department is specialized in following directions:

• work in integrated classes,
• use of different forms of creative psychology -Art-therapy, tale therapy, sand therapy, psychodrama, etc.
• work with category children and their accompaniment to schools;
• psychological accompaniment of psychological services of pre- school and school establishments.
